Dynamic sitting act w/ use of cone and rings to focus on trunk alignment and stability, crossing midline w/ modified PNF patterns, fxnl grasp retrieval and placement, initiation of movement, and problem-solving error correction.
Facilitation of ROM, postural control/alignment techniques, and strength.
Facilitation in trunk control and strength act w/ forward leaning, lateral reach, table-assisted trunk flexion, trunk rotation, and trunk extension. Seated bar battle act to challenge trunk stability.
FUNCTIONAL REACH Seated/standing act to improve dynamic balance for fxnl act, weight shifting, and postural control to decrease fall risks. Requires verbal/tactile cues for controlled reach w/ facilitation of core and safe return to midline. Upgrade/downgrade w/ change of surface, target height, and distance.
Fxnl reaching act sitting/standing to facilitate balance, weight shifting, UE ROM, fxnl reaching, act tolerance, and coordination.
Marching act to improve LE coordination and balance for fxnl mobility to the dining room, bathroom, and dayroom. Tactile cues to increase knee height. VC for pacing.
Multi -target reaching task to improve pt's core stability and reaction time for improved balance in dynamic tasks. Provided min VC for form and visual scanning.
Patient performed multi-directional posterior wall taps with slider discs to simulate functional reaching tasks. Demonstrated improved trunk rotation and upright posture with minimal verbal and tactile cues to engage the core and maintain alignment.“

Reactive Balance Training Pt performed multi-directional reaching and stepping outside BOS w/ visual target locating numbers on wall and tapping for dynamic stability. Increased time to scan and locate target. One LOB present. Pt locates 4/10 numbers correctly.
Romberg Stance balance act w/ to promote standing balance and stability during fxnl task. Instructions for slow head rotation, neck flexion and extension, and eyes closed. Progressed to a half-tandem stance. VC to move head at same speed as eyes. VC to maintain upright posture. CGA due to LOB.
Seated unsupported to facilitate trunk control, core strength, balance, lateral reaching, crossing midline, strength, coordination, and UE ROM.
Standing balance and coordination act to facilitate trunk rotation, balance, coordination, strength, and standing balance. Progress adding steps. * pool noodle hockey
