Gentle leg stretching exercises to enhance lower body stability.
Hip external rotation to donn/doff shoes and socks.
Hip flexion to lift leg into pants and lift up foot to donn shoes.
Knee flexion to thread LE into pants/shorts and for picking up foot to donn/doff shoes.
LB stretching Assisted w/ gentle stretches in hip flexor muscles and hamstring muscles to address tight muscles and improve ROM.
LE cone taps to focus on hip flexion, sitting balance, and coordination for LB dressing.
Lower Extremity Preparatory Exercises for LB dressing. 1 set 10 reps of LE cone taps, LE up and overs, toe touch/LE reach, LE cross reach, ankle taps, Ankle DF/PF, ankle press w/ ball, knee flexion/knee pulls, and figure-4 stretch. Requires cues to increase ROM. Physical a at ankle to assist with lifting. Verbal/visual cues for knee extension.
Preparatory act for LB dressing with use of looped tband to thread LE alternating RLE and LLE 2 set 10 reps.
Progressed to sit to stand at parallel bar to pull looped tband over hips.
Trunk flexion to bend over and pull up or push down pants.
